What Stemline's agents do

Six agents handle checking and drafting between calls. None of them can send email to your counterparties. Quote drafts and pipeline stage changes from follow-up triage are recorded in Actions.

Approval settings

  • Agent mode can be Suggest (default) or Auto. In Auto mode, follow-up triage runs every 15 minutes, up to 20 runs per desk per day.
  • Pipeline approval can be required or not. It defaults to on when the desk has more than one member.
  • Draft replies always need approval before anything is sent.
  • Only managers and admins can change these settings.

What agents never do

  • Send email to a counterparty. The only email tool proposes a draft for you to review.
  • Change prices or deal values. Margin tools are read-only.
  • Delete CRM records. Agents have no delete tools.

Audit trail

  • Agent runs, events and tool actions are logged in Actions.
  • Any firm user can view runs. Managers and admins approve pending tool actions.
  • Pending approvals expire after 7 days if not actioned.
  • Finished agent runs are removed after 90 days.
